Legal information
This page summarises, in English, who provides our services and the terms that apply when you buy from us. The binding texts are the Turkish originals linked below; if the two differ, the Turkish version prevails.

2. What we provide
Live online English lessons and exam preparation (IELTS and TOEFL iBT), guidance for study-abroad applications, academic and career coaching, learning and motivation support, and creative workshops. All services are delivered online. We do not provide health services, diagnosis, treatment or psychotherapy; we do not issue official or state-accredited diplomas; and we do not guarantee exam scores, admissions, scholarships or visas.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in Turkish lira (TRY) and include VAT. The full list is on our price page (Turkish).
- Card payments are taken on Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş.’s 3D Secure payment page; we never see or store your card details.
- An invoice is issued for every sale and sent to your email address.
4. Before you pay
Before an order is placed you are shown the Pre-contract Information Form and the Distance Sales Agreement and must tick a box to accept them. A second, separate box asks whether you want the service to start within the 14-day withdrawal period. We record the time of acceptance, the order number, your IP address and the version of the texts you accepted. The texts as they read at that moment, with your order details and the scope of each programme, are sent to you in the first order confirmation e-mail and stay available under My account → Orders.
5. Start of service
Within 48 hours of payment we contact you to plan your lessons; lesson days and times are agreed with you. The date, time, length and outcome of every lesson are recorded and shared with you on request.
6. Right of withdrawal, cancellations and refunds
- You may withdraw within 14 days of the contract without giving a reason. Until the first lesson, assessment session or written feedback has been delivered, everything is refunded.
- If, at your separate request, the service starts within those 14 days, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once it starts (Distance Contracts Regulation, art. 15). We still let you stop at any time: lessons given are charged at your own programme’s per-lesson price and the rest is refunded — within the 14 days and after them alike.
- If a lesson, assessment, report or feedback included in your programme is not delivered, or not delivered as described, your statutory rights (free redelivery, a price reduction or cancellation, and damages where applicable) remain; a cancellation or price reduction for that reason is refunded immediately.
- Each lesson is 40 minutes; packages are sold by number of lessons.
- Lessons in a package are scheduled within its validity period: 12-lesson programmes 2 months, 24-lesson programmes 4 months, Interview Preparation 45 days, the Level & Goal Assessment and the Mock Exam Assessment 30 days. After expiry no new lessons can be booked, but the money is never forfeited: unused lessons are refunded on request.
- The lesson count of every programme means live lessons only; mock sessions, marked writing and document reviews are listed separately with their number.
- A programme’s per-lesson price is the amount you paid for it divided by its lessons (IELTS and TOEFL: lessons plus mock sessions). The amount deducted never exceeds what you paid, and included written marking is not charged separately.
- The Level & Goal Assessment creates a credit equal to the amount paid. It can be used once, by the buyer’s account only, within 30 days, on a General English, IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Business English or Interview Preparation programme; it cannot be combined with other discounts, transferred or cashed. If the assessment is cancelled or refunded the credit is void; in a refund of a programme bought with the credit, the credit counts as part of the price you paid.
- Group courses (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or a speaking club) open for enrolment once at least 3 people confirm and are then sold as a whole; joining after the start costs only the remaining sessions. Sessions are shared, so they can’t be moved or cancelled individually and a missed session is not made up. A session we cannot deliver is made up or refunded; if you leave a course, sessions not yet held are refunded on request. The 14-day withdrawal right applies.
- A lesson cancelled at least 12 hours in advance is rescheduled free of charge; the first late cancellation in each package (under 12 hours) is a one-time flexibility pass and the lesson credit is returned; later late cancellations and no-shows count as used. If you were unwell or had an emergency, write to us within 72 hours after the lesson and we will review it as part of our student support; where it fits, the lesson is given back without using the pass.
- Lessons cancelled by us, or lost to a technical fault on our side, are never deducted.
- Refund requests are answered within three business days. Refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 days of your request reaching us (immediately for a cancellation or price reduction because of a service we did not deliver properly), in one go even if you paid in instalments, and without any deduction. No reason is needed to withdraw.
7. Personal data
We process personal data under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) only to provide and document the service you requested. Minors are enrolled with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. You can exercise your data rights through the channels in our KVKK application form.
8. Complaints and disputes
Write to info@biradimileri.com. Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee of their place of residence for disputes below the yearly limit set by the Ministry of Trade (TRY 186,000 for 2026). Above that limit, mediation is compulsory before a claim can be filed at the Consumer Court.
