Knowing a subject well and being able to teach it are two different skills. Many educators are strong in their field but have never had pedagogical training: nobody explained how to work with different ages, how motivation actually functions, when feedback does harm, or what to do when a learner tells you something difficult.
That is exactly what this programme covers. It is subject-agnostic: an English teacher, an exam coach and a workshop instructor all take the same programme. It is free, self-paced, and it ends with a verifiable certificate.

Certificate and badge
Once all ten modules are complete you can take the certification exam: 30 scenario questions drawn at random from a 64-item bank, pass mark 80%. You may retake it as often as you like; the paper is different every time.
On passing you receive the Teaching Compass — Foundation programme completed badge and a record of completion carrying a personal verification code. Anyone can verify that code publicly.
This is an internal record of participation and achievement issued by Bir Adım İleri. It does not constitute formal equivalence, a professional qualification, or approval by any public authority.

Is it really free?
Yes. The programme is entirely free and there is no paid version. Its purpose is to give every educator teaching on the platform a shared pedagogical foundation.
How long does it take?
The ten modules total roughly three hours of reading. You can go at your own pace and stop whenever you like — your progress is stored in your browser.
Is it only for English teachers?
No. The programme is subject-agnostic. It is written for coaches, workshop instructors, consultants and teachers of any subject.
Do I need an account?
No. You can complete the modules without registering. A name and email address are only needed to issue the certificate.
Is this a formal teaching qualification?
No. This is Bir Adım İleri's own educator programme and it does not replace a state-issued teaching qualification. It is practical, platform-specific preparation.
Can I lose my progress?
Progress is stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data or move to another device you will need to redo the module checks; they are short and take a few minutes.
