Between Sessions: Habits and Behaviour Change
A session lasts 40 minutes; real change happens in the days between two sessions. This module is about helping the participant carry what they learn into everyday life.
- Cambridge framework: Teaching, learning and assessment
- Turkish MoNE competency area: Professional skill — monitoring and supporting learning

In this module
- Turn a vague wish into a clear, small goal
- Link a new behaviour to an existing daily routine
- Set up follow-up that supports rather than pressures
- Get back on plan after a difficult week, without blame
Watch first: a 7-minute overview
A short video on the module's main ideas. The text below then gives the details and examples.

Change starts after the session
Something learned in a session is soon forgotten if it isn’t used during the week. For a language teacher that means using new words in conversation; for a dietitian, a new meal routine; for a yoga teacher, a short practice at home.
So the last few minutes of every session go to one question: “What will you do before our next session?” The answer should be small, clear and realistic.
